How do I know when my in-fuel pump has failed? How do the symptoms differ from the failure of the main pump?

Answer
If the car doesnt run its failed.  HAHA.  Some 940's have only 1 pump.  If you have a Turbo or the 2 pump system, if the main pump is very loud, that means the intank pump is not working.  What is it that you want to know?  What seems to be the problem?  Roger
