Volvo Repair: Loose wire/850, car dings, head gasket

Question
I took my car in tonight for repair, I am thinking blown head gasket, but not sure. The question is I also want to have them check out a problem I have been having. I have no inside lights, except for my instrument panel, The car dings when I open my visor, My ABS light comes on and off, and my alarm will go off on occasion when I lock it. Do you have an idea what this might be?

Lynne, why do you think you have a blown head gasket?  As far as the other issues, The dinging is a blown fuse.  you can cut the visor wire and it wont blow it.  I believe the inside lights are on the same circuit.  The ABS will most likely be the control unit.  Common issue on the 850. As far as the alarm, that also may be a module issue.  Roger
