Volvo Repair: Vacuum hoses, vacuum hoses, flame trap

Question
Hi, Roger.  I've learned a lot reading your log.  But I still haven't found how to find/locate/replace the vacuum hoses on my 1988 740GLE non-turbo wagon (CA car).  I did change the flame trap filter and the hose to the flame trap and the hose to the manifold.  What other systems use the manifold vacuum?  How do I locate them? If I read correctly the cruise control has it's own vacuum pump. Thanks for your help.

Answer
Alison, The only vacuum hoses used on your car are as follows:  The big one is for the air vents inside the car. You already figured out the small hose for the flame trap to the manifold. The Turbo cars use more of the fittings on the manifold but that should be it on yours.  Yes the cruise is operated by a different vacuum pump. Hope this helped.  Roger
