hey its me again roger, just one more question... we are thinking about buying a code reader for the volvo can you tell me if it is a OBD1 or OBD2 it is located right in fromt of the shifter...... dont want to buy the wrong one if you know what i mean... thanks again.... hey if you come to kansas i will cook ya dinner for all your help lol

Tanya, save your money.  That tool will not help your year model car.  The A and B ports over by the coolant tank is where you read codes on this model.  SPecial connector and scan tools.  You can read them manually but you need to know what the flashes mean.  Roger
