Volvo Repair: Volvo V40 2.0T Cam Timing, volvo specialist, volvo v40

Question
Hi Roger.
Thanks for the speedy response.
What was stolen , removed or lost was the top engine mounting on the CAM belt Side aswell as a few body spoilers. Possible engine mounting bolts too.
The CAM pulleys were removed from the CAM Shafts aswell and there are sevral marks on the pulleys.
I have been told that the Pistons all need to be totaly level in the Block (i.e. All 4 pistons to be at the same height). I was also told that I would need a special tool to Re-assemble and put back the CAM Shafts.
Is there anywhere I could get some close up diagrams on the CAMS and at what position they should be put back?
Kind regards
Andrew

Answer
Andrew, I know you are trying to do this by yourself but I highly do not recommend it.  You can buy the factory manual from the dealer but I would just let a professional deal with this mess.  Yes, you need special tools to put the car back together.  Sorry Andrew but your best bet is the dealer or Volvo Specialist shop.  Roger
