Volvo Repair: S60 Headlight Problems, high beams, volvo dealer
QuestionI have a 2001 Volvo S60 with ~65K miles. The car used to be a service loaner for the dealership, and I bought it with ~6K miles on it. So far, I have had to replace the headlights (dipped beam)about 4-5 times. I have had to replace the high beams twice, and I have also already gone through tail lights twice.
Yesterday I replaced the headlights again, but the new bulbs did not light. I still get the "dipped beam failure" error message. Until I get this resolved, I am forced to drive with the high-beams on (annoying other drivers) in order to see at night. Any ideas of what I can check? I have heard complaints regarding Volvo's electrical systems. Is this problem typical in this model?
I have to admit, I love the car, but the frequent headlight replacement is getting annoying.
Answerwhen you replace bulbs in front replace them in pair
in rear replace also in pair's like position bulbs you replace all 4 bulbs and if is brake bulb replace both brake bulbs .problems is alternaotr is to strong made stronger so you can install many accessories but if you dont have it bulbs burn out little faster you cant nothing about there is no fix and bulbs have little problem also but there is no fix than to replace all volvo's are like that from 1993 dont worry just take it to volvo delaer you will have one year warranty on parts when they do it so let the volvo dealer do it dont use aftermarket bulbs
