Volvo Repair: 1990 760 T hard starting, fuse box, mechanical skills

760T with 130,000 km very well maintained ,car runs great never abused ,but for the last 5000kms it is taking longer to start,more cranking needed, it used to start instantly ,car always starts and performs good, 30000 kms on plugs, i have not cleaned cap or rotor yet ,if i click the starter over 3 or 4 times and then try to start it ,it starts quickly. fuel check valve? possible ,i have good mechanical skills

Hello Pete,
         Here are a few items you may want to look at.
        Fuel injectors that no longer work well and dribble out fuel instead of spraying..
         Cold start valve is not working well..
         Spark plug wires... need testing..
       Clean electrical connections in fuse box...it cant hurt.
