Volvo Repair: headlight wiper, fault trace, electrical problem

My left front headlamp wiper is out of sync with the other one.  I think I need to remove it and realign it.  What do you think?  If so, how is the wiper arm removed from the stem, or is it done that way.  Thanks.

If their positions don't line up then you can remove the one that is off snd reattach it in the proper position (flip up the cover at the base, unbolt it and pull it off).  If one is moving before the other but they're both in the same position at rest then you have some other electrical problem going on and I recommend you taking it to get inspected because it would be too hard to fault trace without wiring diagrams and diagnositc computers.
