Volvo Repair: 86 245 diesel Air vent (cont.), vacuum leak, air vent


Question
Last time I din't expalinsed myself correctly.
I bought this car in second hand and the air vent control were not working.
I found a losen hose in the motor compartment near the brakes vacuum reservoir.
There is no vacuum leak nor hiss noise.
Do you know where should this hose be conected?
(diesel engine)
I haven't found any hole or intake to connect it.

Hello Fernando,
           Diesel engines have a vacuum pump located on upper back area of the engine....(6 cylinder V W engine)
         The vacuum pump creates vacuum for brakes and assorted other minor uses....these pumps do fail.
