Volvo Repair: 2001 Volvo S60 ETS module, mass air flow sensor, mass air flow

Question
I have recently been experiencing problems during idle time. My check engine light has been on about a week, while I was on vacation. I had an OBG test done which said I would probably need a new mass air flow sensor and said there was a problem in Bank(cylinder) #1 with fule being to rich. I had another test done and recieved the following codes 1300/130A/261A/262A/91CF. I was then advised that my throttle module was at fault. I was told the repair would cost 1050.00 for the ETS module. I am confused about this because I feel the ETS module and the throttle module are different from the homework I have been doing. My question is what might my problem be the throttle module or the ETS module.

Also, I have heard that I can clean the throttle module and get a cheap software upgrade done to see if that might remedy the problem.

Any comments would be helpful. Thanks again.

Answer
ETS electronic throttle system and throttle module are the same thing.the codes look like a bad airmass meter.not sure what the 91cf stands for.I would clean the throttle module and replace the airmass meter.but that is a guess without being able to monitor the airmass meter signal.
