Volvo Repair: center bearing wear, valve job, hard job

Question
Dear Sir,

Please help me understand the complications of a center bearing repair.  I have a 1991 940 turbo sedan with 251,000 miles and have restored most of the front and rear ends added front rear anti sways have valve job plus many other repairs and upgrades to this very fine vehicle, and many more to come! Excuse my laziness. I guess I can buy a repair manual!  Thanks

Answer
while buying that manual you will need a press also.the bearing will need to be pressed on and off the shaft.it is not a hard job you need to remove the driveshaft and then seperate the 2 halves then remove the bushing and then press the bearing off then press the new one on but do not press it too far or it will bind on the rear dust cover.
