Volvo Repair: rear speaker problem, s70 glt, volvo dealer

one of the rear speakers in my 1998 S70 GLT(mounted in the trunk coming up under the rear deck) has gone bad, sputtering, vibrating at times, other times playing fine.  it is obviously not blown because it still works. I can't see how you get this speaker out either from the trunk or inside rear deck.
Can a layman do this repair?
Where would I find a replacement speaker?
Any general thoughts on this model?  I've had too many repairs of various kinds to feel good about it.

you would find a replacement at the Volvo dealer.you could just go to an aftermarket radio shop and have them replace the speakers they would know how to do it and would probably be cheaper than a factory original speaker.the rear hat shelf lifts up so you can replace the speakers.

thoughts are it is in general a good car.
