Cadillac: 96 cadillac sedan deville not shifting, speed shaft, turbine speed

Question
The thing won't shift stuck in limp mode. I get a code P0716 Speed sensor
turbine is out of range ,P0717 no input signal from the turbine speed sensor What's up with it.

You need to replace the input speed shaft sensor.
