Cadillac: 2000 CADILLAC DTS BRAKE FAILUR, cadillac dts, 2000 cadillac dts

MY RIGHT FRONT BRAKE WORE ALL THE DOWN TO THE METAL AND RUINED THE ROTOR. ALL OTHER BRAKES WERE LIKE NEW. REPLACED ROTOR AND BRAKES, RIGHT FRONT BRAKE SEEMED TO GET VERY HOT AND RUINED THE NEW ROTOR. REPLACED ROTOR, BRAKE PADS AND REPLACE THE CALIPER AND CALIPER PINS. MY NEW ROTOR IS STARING TO SHOW WEAR AND FEELS LIKE IT HAS RIDGES. IS THERE SOMETHING ELSE THAT COULD CAUSE THIS. DEALER SAY THE LINE MAY NEED TO BE REROUTED?

Jack up the wheel that is giving you problems and see if it will spin fairly easily by hand.

Next step on the brake and release the brake and go back and see if you can still hand spin the same tire.

I would REPLACE the brake hoses.
