Cadillac: codes 91 cad.seville, turning the screw, throttle body

Question
I have a 91 Seville engine size 4.9 the following codes are coming up on it:
e030-code
e052-code
b552-history
r061-history

trying to get inspected after driving check eng. lights comes.

thanks

Answer
The ONLY one you need to be concerned about is the E030 code. Which is most likely caused by:

1. Someone has adjusted the vehicles idle speed by turning the screw on the throttle body of which is a NO-NO. You do NOT use this screw to adjust the idle speed to a HIGHER rpm as it is PRESET by the manufacturer and requires NO ADJUSTMENT.

OR the ISC (Idle Speed Control) motor has an internal failure and needs to be replaced and ADJUSTED properly by a competent reliable knowledgeable experienced Cadillac technician.

One this E030 Code is resolved and the codes are then CLEARED from the computer by the technician the other codes will not re-occur.
