Cadillac: 1985 Seville, oil leaks, cam shafts

I have the opportunity to purchase an 85 Seville with about 55,000 original miles.  She sure is a beauty but I wanted to know if the engine/transmission is one of the problem ones.  It is a 4.1 V8

The 82 thru 85 4.1 engines had a LOT of problems with cam shafts and crank shafts as well as numerous oil leaks that you will be forever trying to resolve.

My thought sare that if this engine oNLY actually has 55,000 miles on it of which is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, But if it does actaully have this mileage it must have spent more time in the repair shop then it did on the road and or it has SOMETHING wrong with it that has been TEMPORARILY repaired.

I would PASS on it.
