Chevrolet: 5.3l stalls when cold, throttle position sensor, odbii scanner

Question
I have a 2000 Suburban 4x4 5.3 litre engine, sometimes (3x in last 1-2 months) when the engine is cold the truck stalls. I have to keep my foot on the gas and the brake when I stop or just idle. When the truck warms up it is fine. I was thinking the FPR, but this seems opposite of a bad FPR. Any ideas???
Thanks

Answer
Thom,
Probably the first thing I would go after here is the Throttle Position Sensor. There are a couple things it could be, but I think that would top my list. I would have it hooked up to an ODBII scanner and see if there are any codes stored in the computer right off, but if there are no codes I'd start there.
