Chevrolet: 1996 chevy blazer, chevy blazer, pontiac transport

I have a 1996 chevy blazer that i just bought but the guy i bought it from doesnt have the keyless entry remote.  I have, however, a keyless entry remote from a 1996 pontiac transport, is there any way i can program this remote to work on my blazer?

HI well I think for that to work it would end up costing you a fortune, you should go to radio Shack and get a new set up or you might be able to just get the switch and than you can program that if you have the 4 number code from the old switch.
