Chevrolet: Car wont start, altanator, start car

Car ran great yesterday now it doesn't do anything - lights won't come on, does not make the clicking noise of a dead battery, the theft device doesn't even blink. 2004 Malibu

HI wel it could be due to a dead bsttery, I would get a battery tester any check to see that it is charging  at voltage of at least 13/13/5. and check the altanator also to see what it is charging at. as if the battery  dead you wil get nothing at all.you could have left the lights on or the alaram systen could have been left on till the battery went  fully dead. I would check that also check the battery fan belts and that they are tight enough for the fan belt to turn. ok
