Chevrolet: passlock, chevy camaro, dee dee

Question
i have a 94 chevy camaro had to put a starter on it, the old one was making a loud noise and the car would not start. now with the new starter it will turn over but not run a mechanic told me to bring it in he said it was either a opti-spark or a pass lock couldn,t i try having a spare key made and try that i was told that the cjip was made in the key please email asap i have to get it to the shop,  thanks diana

HI - I do not know about the key , if the place that makes the key has the one for your car than it should work , but there can be a lot of reasons why it will not start , it should be put on the computer to see what codes come up , then you will know what the trouble is ... ok >
