Chevrolet: possible help for Pam 1995 Calvalier dying, harness connector, dash lights

My 97 Blazer had the same problem.  I found that the key switch wiring harness in the steering column was working its way loose.  If the truck had the ignition key to run, I got no dash lights to come on, dome light stayed lit and no fuel pump charge.  Pushed in the harness connector and all above occured as expected.  Truck started up.  when test driving, truck stopped, shifted to netural pushed on harness, lights came on, truck started.  Could be the answer to her problem.

      yea when thay go thay can cause a lot of things to happen , should be replaced as soon as you can.If not and if a pos. wire grounds out -   there can be a major wireing job as it can start burning up the harness and than the real trouble starts.
