Hi Richard

I have a 2000 dodge neon with an 3-speed automatic transmission. the engine hesitates while accelerating, especially if the a/c is on.
But it doesnt happen all the time. I was just wondering what you think it might be...

How do the spark plugs look? Are they gapped correctly? OK, so the engine it having touble, especially under load..hmm.. yea, check the plugs, and make sure they all have a solid connection. Then try a bottle of SeaFoam in the vacuum like while the engine is running at 2000RPm to give it a real good clean up and carbon removal. This really helps with throttle response and regained hp. Let me know how it works.
