Dodge: dodge ram 2500 transmission 1995 4X4, dodge ram 2500, torque converter

My sons truck. Truck has 160,000 plus miles, he had a tranny overhall about 8000 miles back. The tranny just suddenly quit working (while driving). The shifter moves thru the numbers,but the tranny does nothing. Has clean unburned fluid in it. What would cause this? Thanks

The transmission will have to be checked,i'd check the torque converter.But if it won't move all you can do is replace it.You can try adding some SeaFoam made by TransTune to it to see if it will make it move.It costs very little around $5 or $6.Add the entire can to the existing transmission fluid and try it.I added some to mine and it has shifted right ever since adding it.
