Dodge: 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 coversion van 5.2 318 magnum engine, dodge ram 2500, fuel injection pump

Question
My wife and I bought this piece of junk, brand new, off a dealers lot. This van had nothing but problems with it since we first took it for the 3,000 mile check. It now has 151,000 miles on it, and won't start for nothing. It felt like it was first choking up about 2 months ago. It would stall, but we added the fuel injector cleaner about every other tankfull, and it seemed to keep the piece of junk going. We had the fuel injectors checked,ok, we had a recent tune up, the gas filter checked. But on the last day it ran.It first chocked up at a light, stalled completely, I got it started in about 5 mins., but it completely died about 5 mins later, I put a new battery in it, it cranks but it seems no gas is being pumped to the engine. We missed putting the fuel injector cleaner in there for about 4 tankfulls, this is when the trouble started, we had 4 recalls on the junk and took it back for service work about 12 times in the 3 years it was waranted for. They fixed it for nothing, but from 1999 till now we have had the vehicle in for just about everything, my Dad used to say if you have trouble with a new car from the start, get rid of it because you'll have trouble the whole time you have that car. He was 100% correct. Sorry for the long letter, but I never seen a vehicle with so many problems.
Thanks to all.

Answer
James,
Has the engine light came on?This could be idle speed incorrect. Also it could have water in the fuel tank, sometimes happens with some gas you buy straight from the pumps.A vacuum leak at the throttle body, intake manifold or hoses.Air in the fuel system or defective fuel injection pump. The reason i asked about the engine light was due to some sensors being bad.But if it's fuel related you probably will not see the light come on.Let me know.
