Ford: 1993 ford taurus 3.0 engine, mass air sensor, mass air flow

I fixed my tail lights by reading other views and a little self searching..
Now the other problem,  The engine has a slight sluggishness to it, its getting better, i got underneath and tightened all the bolts on the oil pan and the X-mission. criss cross pattern right.  I changed the MASS air sensor, because the code reader kept coming up as this.  Checked other items spark plugs and such they seem to be okay, checked out the air vacuums, some are strong others not, car is real nice otherwise, comfortable smooth ride, oh when i went to buy the mass air flow, real bad gas mileage????last year changed the fuel filter??  tuintense71@hotmail.com

there are two general culprits to this bad timing or fuel system needs dry gas or a treatment.  Sounds more like dirty fuel injectors.  I would definitely give that car some fuel injector cleaner.  If that doesn't work then I would concentrate on the timing.
