Ford: 1968 Mustang, wheel disc brakes, low profile tires

Question
I'm looking to tear down my '68 Mustang Fastback and do it all over again. I first did it 16 years ago when I was 15 and it's time once again. I really want to keep the 302 and do some work on it and keep the C6. What my question is about concerns the suspension. Can you recommend any performance suspension kits/companies? I don't want radical but I'd really like something that sits low and bites the road. I'd also like to do upgrades to 4 wheel disc brakes and as large of low-profile tires I can get. What do you say?
