hi greg i wonder if you have any idea as to why my red brake light flickers when i apply the brake pedal it is quite faint then it goes i have up until now changed the brake discs and pads (no sensors on either) changed the top of the brake fluid also the fluid is up to the max mark it was comming on before i changed all these things but still there, i have also checked the handbrake lever and found that to be ok i have been told that the switch on the brake pedal may need changing but i cant keep going like this i might as well book it in and pay a fortune for them to find it but if you can throw any light on it or if you know someone who can i would like that very much thanks alot jason

sorry about the delay here.  with all the winter snow storms up here in Nova Scotia, my internet hasn't been working much lately.

anyways, i don't think you need to throw in the towel and spend all that money right away.  from what you've told me, i'm pretty sure that this is simply an electrical problem.  your brakes should be fine for now.  however, be sure to have them checked on a regular basis for a while.  an electrical problem will cost next to nothing to repair.  hope this isn't too late for you, jason.  anyways, i hope i've helped out here.  bye for now.
