Ford: 1987 Ranger Manual Transsion Removal, ford ranger xlt, clutch slave

1987 Ford Ranger XLT 2.9 liter V-6, 5 speed manual transsion. The clutch is engaged and will not dis-engage, i found the hydraulic reserivor empty, refilled, try and nothing, had freind pump it and bleed the system at the transssion, got air out, and nothing but fluid after 5 times of bleeding, but clutch still will not dis-engage.I have all the bolts out, drive line out, cross bar removed, but the transsion will not come out, theres a gap of 1/2 inch to almost an inch between the engine block and transsion lose but will not come out, need your help plz, Thank You

Jack you made sure that all 6 bolts are out of the bellhousing even the one  on the rt hand side that you remove the nut then you take the bolt out.and the starter is out if so then the clutch slave cyl is stuck and you have to play with it i had this happen to me a bunch of times and it is a pain in the a%$#@&.
