Ford: what type of engine is it?, o reilly auto parts, o reilly auto

I was just recently given a 76' F-250 camper special.The only problem i have with it is I dont know what size engine it has and I want to put some performance parts on it.I know its not a 302 cuz i have had one,but im not sure if its a 360 or 390.is their any way to tell?

Tony, the best way to tell the size of the engine is by the water pump.  If you can locate the casting number of the water pump,then write back to me and I will let you know.  If you are unable to get your question in, then call your local O'Reilly Auto parts with the casting number and they can cross reference it.  I hope this helps,  Jason
