GM-GMC: U-Joint Trouble again maybe ?, vibration problem, drive shaft

Question
Hey I am the guy with the 2000 silverado that asked about the u-joint the other day. I changed my rear u-joint but it didn't fix my clicking/grinding/vibration problem. Do I also need to check that u-joint located next to the trans. Also I was wondering if this could be something else? Thanks so much!

Answer
the components that would cause this are starting at the drive shaft, u joint and rear axle, maybe as simple at changing the fluid in the rear end, the drive shaft is the next least expensive to replace in this vehicle and honestly you can probably find this at a wreck yard on the same truck... vibrations while excellerating are caused by something usually and i emphasize usually caused by something from the drive shaft back. rear alignment has also been a problem in these trucks..

sorry that didnt fix your problem that is outside the norm that is almost usually always it
