GM-GMC: U-Joint Trouble ?, chevy silverado, drive shaft

Hi I own a 2000 Chevy Silverado Z-71 and it sounds like its grinding right at the end of my drive shaft where the u-joint is. It can shake the truck during accelaration I was wondering what else could it be and how to replace it.

yep you are correct if it shakes and you hear a noise from that area it is your u joint and they are fairly simple to replace do it before it gives or you will drop the drive shaft and everything when it goes and its not fun when youre drivin and that happens ... happened to me i know...

if you have to ask how to replace it i suggest you get a service manual or take it somewhere and have them do it...
