GM-GMC: 1985 gmc 2500 305 engine, distributor ignition, rotor

Question
This van is driving me nuts! No spark at plugs. Power to distributor-none out. Replaced coil and module. Pick up coil checked ok. When I checked spark from plug wire, no spark. Turned ignition off and spark jumped from plug wire. Any ideas? Thank you very much for any help.

replace the cap and rotor on the distributor

you may have to replace the whole unit ...


if you have done these things then with out me looking i wouldnt really know what to say...

plugs, wires, distributor, ignition coil maybe that too
