GM-GMC: 2004 gmc 6 disc cd player, gmc seirra, reed switches

Question
QUESTION: Hey i have a 2004 gmc seirra with the 6 disc cd player. I have 6 discs in the player and none of them will even start to play and when i push eject it says no disc. have any clue whats wrong?

ANSWER: Ok , If I'm understanding this properly . The disk is stuck in the palyer as well . Does the CD tray open.

If not try to push close and open several times FAST !!!
Open /Close OPen /Close
Keep doing this for say 2 minutes :
See now if it finds and starts to paly the disk .

If you open the disk palyer . Try just putting in one disk out of six . See if it picks up on the empty slots ?

electronics are funny !!
There are small micro reed switches that say that you have disks in the player . It sounds like it needs to find it working again ..
Let me know !

tap on the radio ... You need to ajar the switch so you can get your disks out !
Is there a slot that your CD"S go into . or do you have a tray that hold's 6 disks in it and the entire tray loads into the front of the radio ??? What type of radio ?You can use a sharp blade (stiff) to hook the door and pull open the CD tray !

Can you switch and play just the radio ?

QUESTION: Hey theres just one slot that i load all the cd's into. To load them i have to push load and wait till it says insert cd but now when i push load nothing happens. Its just a factory radio the one that came with the truck. And yes i can play the radio.

Answer
Ok ,

Try to force the CD cartridge into the radio . have a tool , plastic stiff  that you can pull on the CD cartridge as well . There is a small reed switch that is not notice the cartridge of disks right now... Do not wait for it to say load CD..
Your radio might hold memory if you diconnect your battery . You have to disconnect the fuse for radio , as well .

Prior to this did you use the CD alot ,,or just now and then ?

Try this !!!
