Answer
You will find that your vehicle's wiring and the stereo wiring will not match.  In 1984, AM-FM Casette players with manual tuning and volume knobs were not installed with any concern about what would happen 20+ years into the future.

Basically, with a test light or meter, you need to hunt down a source of +12V with the ignition key in "Run" and "Acc" then verify that the power turns off when you turn the ignition key to "Off."  That wire will need go to the red wire on your new Sony.

Then, find a source of +12V that is on all the time.  That source will have to be wired to the yellow wire of the Sony for memory retention purposes.

The black wire on the Sony is ground.  You will either have two pair or four pair of wires for speakers.  Use your Sony owner's manual or sticker on the stereo to tell you which pair of wires go to which speaker.  Each pair of wires will have one with a black stripe.  It does not matter to which terminal of the speaker that the striped wire goes to as long as you wire all the speakers to have their striped wire going to the same connector on each speaker (the connectors on the speakers are either marked + and - or have different sized terminals on them.

I can't help you with a subwoofer installation or pre-amp.  I don't have any vehicles with subwoofers or pre-amps.  There will be a wire for a power antenna motor, which you can ignore, and don't forget to plug in the antenna cable.
