GM-GMC: blinkers on a 1995 chevrolet s-10, turn signal flasher, fuse box

Question
A few days ago the blinkers quit working on my 1995 chevrolet s-10. I already checked the fuse and determined that is not the problem. I saw another question similar to mine and am now wondering about this "blinker module" or "flasher" i read about. Could this also be my problem? I see nothing but fuses in the fuse box so I'm guessing it's not located there. Where can I locate it? Thanks so much for your time and help.

Answer
The flasher should look like the one in this URL:

According to AutoZone, the flasher is located:

PASSENGER SIDE OF STEERING COLUMN, UNDER DASH, MOUNTED NEAR CIGARETTE LIGHTER. OPTIONAL MOUNTING LOCATION IS UNDER DASH,
ON DRIVER SIDE OF STEERING COLUMN.

Note that the four way hazard light flasher is located in the same position and looks about the same as the turn signal flasher.
