GM-GMC: Fuel filter, fuel injector cleaner, gm vehicles

Question
I have a 1999 Silverado with 83,000 miles. It has been running rough once it gets warmed up.  It feels like it going to stall all the time and has when I'm idling at an intersection.  If I shut it off and try to start it again while it's still hot, I have to crank it a long time and give it gas.  I tried dry gas and fuel injector cleaner...could it be the fuel filter?

Answer
Yes, it can be the fuel filter.

Do you know when it was changed last?

If not, or if it has been a long time, buy a fuel filter and install it.  It is a stainless steel canister located along the fuel line from the tank to the engine, and is usually on the underside of most GM vehicles.
