GM-GMC: 81 chevy blazer 350 distributor problem, spark plug wires, chevy blazer

I keep blowing the ignition module in my blazer. I have replaced the cap,HEI coil, module,rotor,and spark plug wires. My next step is the distributor itselve. I also checked for any shorts and when I replaced the ignition module I made sure to use the dielectric grease.Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

What mechanical work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made.


Did you TEST the PICKUP COIL in the distributor ?. This is well known for shorting out and blowing ignition modules.
