QUESTION: I experienced Total Break failure on 2/5/10 in LA Jolla CA 92037 resulting in a 4 car rear end crashes with unfolding of air bags in my car.Fortunately no serious injuries occured to everybody involved in accident.I never experienced like this in my 32yrs of Driving in upstate NY under more wintery conditions in various other brands of cars.The Breaking system tottaly failed in light drizzling rainy conditions with heavy traffic moving slowly in rt lane.I am wondering how this can happen with ALS system in this car.

ANSWER:  I would truly need to inspect this car and road test it to be any help.

QUESTION: How can it be Diagnosed without Road testing as the car is undrivable cxondition and was towed away.Are there any Dignostic tests avialable to test a non moving car.

Of coarse there are diagnostics that can be performed on the car, just not over the Internet. It's your contention that the brakes failed suddenly and completely. I have nothing to go by other than a statement that the brakes failed. I'm sorry, anything I state would be a guess at best, and that's not going to be helpful.
