Honda: honda 2002 crv code p1456, honda 2002 crv, fuel filler

Question
for one year this code has come on in November I had honda
test the car.  They did replace the fuel filler and cap.  All was
ok til yesterday with the cl on.  I had the code pulled p1456.
Now what? The code was reset so I guess it goes back if the code
returns again.  There was a tsb on the fuel filler

Answer
The car will need to have the evap system tested for proper solenoid operation and for an evap leak on the fuel tank side of the system. There are several voltage and vacuum tests that will help determine which part of the system is failing. It may require a smoke machine to test the integrity of the system.
