Question -
1988 560 sel turns over but will not fire. No spark at plug, fuel pump initiates, spark at coil to distributor. Noticed burned rotor. Car was running fine to my job and wouldnt start 8 hours later. Idled a little rough after warming up. Can the rotor just go bad that quickly? Plastic near electrode on rotor looks a little melted. Could there be another problem causing the rotor to get burnt?

Answer -
Answer:
Yes, the rotor and cap can go bad that quick.

Answer
Answer:
Yes; you need month/year date for the correct spark plugs.

Simply call Phil with the month/year date for the correct spark plugs, Toll Free 1-888-333-4642 (NOT for technical support).

Assume he can get anything you can ask for, if you have other parts questions, make a list, before you call, and go down it (checking off as answered) item by item.

Tell him that whunter sent you. :)
