Mitsubishi: Car Wont Start, mitsubishi galant, car doors

Question
Last night I drove my 2002 Mitsubishi Galant to a restaurant, parked it, then returned after dinner (less than 2 hours later) and it wouldn't start.  The car doors wouldn't lock from the lock/open prompt device; when the car door was open the "Open Door" light faintly blinked.  My buddy and I jumped my car and it slowly started up.  I drove it home, parked it, shut it down then tried to start it up again---dead.  I had it running for 10 minutes after the jump, then another 10 minutes during my commute home.

Not sure if I should replace the battery / or simply bring it in and have it checked out.

I did look at the battery window and it is colorless--no indication that it holds a charge.  My owner's manual says it should have a shade of green if it is charged; right now it looks transparent.

Thanks for your time.

Answer
I would have your alternator checked, If it does not charge correctly it will discharge the battery.. Becareful about get jumped off you have a fusible link attached to the battery... Make sure if a new alternator is put in to the vehicle to have the battery fully charged.. Let me know what happens
