Mitsubishi: 01 galant service engine soon light, speed sensors, pulse generators

I recently took this 2001 Galant to check out the problem codes.  The diagnostic codes were oxygen sensor malfunction, egr low input, speed sensor malfunction, selenoid b and c transmission malfunction.  I would like to know the location of the selenoids and where the speed sensor goes.  I would also like to add that the speedometer is working fine which is odd.  Please help!

Hi Josh,

Replace the EGR valve and that should clear the 02 code. The speed sensors on the KM unit are called pulse generators and need to be replace as a set. Located outside of the transmission right on top. Unless you have some transmission rebuilding experience, solenoids should be left to a professional. I suggest taking it to a Cottman and have them do the repair. If you still want to do it, they are located inside on the valve body.
