Mitsubishi: Dim headlights, eclipse spyder, low beams

2001 Eclipse Spyder, Manual
Headlight connectors melted (one only partially); replaced both connectors and headlight bulbs; verified connector wiring (ground, low, high); checked that both high & low beam wires are at 12 volts; High beam seems ok; fog lights seem ok; However, both low beams are dim

Hi Pam,

Sounds like you have a short in the low beam circuit of the headlights. I suggest taking your car to a shop that specializes in auto electronics to chase that short for you. Don't wait to long because this could lead to some very serious problems.
