hi dinger~

this is my problem, my friend borrowed my car today. Suddenly
he called and said that the stereo doesn't work (it was working
fine several hours ago..) then he came to my place with my car
and we started to check the car together.

First, i found out that my car stalled at start (never happened
before) i've never hit my gas pedal when starting up my car and
it starts ok but today...

Second, when i started my car, all lights on my car was like
"zapped" they flashed, looks like off for miliseconds and then
turned on normally again... my automatic doorlock clicked too. it
made me afraid.

Third, i check the fuse box and changed the radio fuse, which is
10mA or ampere because it's broken already. i thought it would
fix my problem with the stereo (my head unit) but nothing
happened, it still won't work.

Forth, the fuel pressure light is sometimes turned on, only for
like 1-2 seconds... and then it's gone. very weird.

Any suggestion about this?

Hi Hong,

Run your car over to a repair facility that can scan it for trouble codes. This will head us in the right direction for repairs. I feel it's a bad alternator, but I'd like to be sure before I make the recommendation. Cottman Transmissions will scan your car for free if one is nearby.
