Mitsubishi: resetting computer, fuses, rpm

Installed new battery now car will not idle. It starts fine but then the rpm's drop down below 1000 and engine shuts off.

Can you keep it running by high idling it or stepping slightly on the gas pedal? And if you can, is there a check engine light on? And when you restart it are you jumping it? And! LOL Check all your fuses. Resubmit with the additional info! Happy Fourth!
