Pontiac: 96 firebird running bad, missing, pontiac firebird, exhast

Question
1996 PONTIAC FIREBIRD, V6, 123K miles.
idle is rough.  It seems to be miss firing, but has power when I 'step-on-it'.  One of the three coils was replaced last month because it was running rough.  It's now much worse.  I can't seem to find the spark plugs or wires.  The spark plugs seem to be below the exhast manafold.  I will be checking the hoses and PCV.

Before I take it to the shop I wanted to get more info on possible fixes to this rough idle problem.

Answer
If it does have a misfire, it can be caused by a bad plug or wire or possibly a clogged or shorted fuel injector. If you are going to go after the plugs and wires, GOOD LUCK! They are a nightmare. Also you have to be very careful of the plug wire routing so that they dont get burnt by the exhaust manifolds.
