Pontiac: Firebird Trans Am, good cars, late model

Question
Hi there. I was thinking about buying a fairly new firebird. I was debating between a manual and an automatic. Obviously the auto is the easier way to go but you cant buy a sports car and not get a manual. I just wanted to know what you thought about this model and if it is worth buying. Does it last a long time? Are there a lot of problems? Stuff like that. Just get back to me when you can Thanks.

Answer
There are not alot of problems with the late model firebirds. They are good cars. I dont care for them very much, but that is because I have to work on them. They are not the easiest cars to work on. No room to get to anything under the hood. Keep in mind that they are expensive to repair because they are so hard to work on.
If you like it, buy it!!!
