Tyler:  I'm new at the Porsche scene; here's my query -

What's the difference between the 911, 993 & 996 models?   Thanks

Well the 993 and the 996 are the Porsche prototypes that the 911's are based on.  Each new model of 911 is based on a different 99x.  Therefor their are usually only very few 996 but it you saw a 996 and a 911 (of the same year and model presumably) I bet the only difference you could see is the silver lettering on the back.  That's about it really.
