Question
what is the best way to install the hard plastic fuel line into the fuel rail fitting ? I assume it has to be gently heated but not sure the best way to do this. thanks!

 The recommended procedure to re-attach the plastic fuel lines to the end fittings is a follows:

         Obtain a rubber hose whose INNER DIAMETER is that of the plastic fuel line OUTER DIAMETER,  approximately 2 inches long. Split it with a sharp knife so it slips over the plastic fuel line.

Put the rubber hose in a vise with the plastic fuel line protruding about an inch. Tighten the vice to hold the assembly securely.

  Tap the end fitting into the fuel line end until it bottoms.

  Remove the rubber hose via the split lengthwise.
