Saab: 95 Saab 900 se Turns off, automobile info, saab 900 se

I'm driving down the road, and it doesn't matter at what speed or whether I've had it on for 10 min or 2 hours, and the car just loses all power. I've turned the key to the off position then turn it back to the on position and the power comes back on until this last time. What could be the problem and just a rough estimate of what you think it might cost to repair.

 I am sorry, but, as stated in my profile, my hands-on experience is limited to the earlier (pre-1993 900's), and therefore I have no experience with your model. I can only speculate, however, that it seems like a computer problem, which, while rare, does happen. The best bet is to have a shop substitute another or if not too expensive, you can get a used one from a recycling yard. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, then the website <www.alldatadiy>,which has the best source of automobile info that I know of (but costs $25/vehicle/year) is also a possibility.
